Freyja Obtains Brisingamen is one of the many stores about Freyja, Goddess of Fertility and Sexual Desire, and Queen of the Valkyries. This is the story of how she obtains the Brisingamen necklace, the piece of jewelry that she is famous for.

In this book, there are two stories - A Gift for a Gift and Frey Falls in Love.
A Gift for a Gift reveals the sacrifices Ottar and his wife Nauma are willing to make to the goddess Freyja in exchange for what is needed for family. Frey Falls in Love revels the story of Frey seeking his desires for someone he has fallen desperately in love that he has only seen her through Odin's throne. He sends gifts in hope of her returned affection.

A giant disguised as an eagle captures Loki and forces him into luring Idunna outside the protective walls of Asgard. The gods begin to age without the assistance of Idunna’s rejuvenating apples, and they discover Loki’s culpability in her disappearance. To save himself, he must rescue her.

In this book, there are two stories - The Ferryman And The Wager. The Ferryman is the Saga of Thor returning home to his father, Odin. Instead of Odin greeting Thor with open arms easily, Odin decides to have a little fun at Thor's expense and antagonize his son. The Wager tells the story of a bet between Odin and his wife Frigga. During an encounter, the two spend a long winter teaching and rearing two young boys, Agnar and Geirrod. Then the boys are sent out into the world to become men. The wager is which of the two will grow into of a greater man and have a better impact on the world. Will Odin have given the knowledge needed to become the stronger man or will Frigga have encouraged and loved her young man into the stronger of the two?

This is one of the many stories about Thor, the god of thunder. His hammer has been stolen so he must team up with Loki, the god of mischief, and sacrifice some of his mighty pride, to regain it.

The Arrival of Sleipnir takes place in Asgard, one of the Nine Worlds of Norse Mythology, the home and fortress of the Aseir. This saga depicts how Odin, the Allfather, obtains his trusted eight legged steed, Sleipnir.

The Giants Test Thor is the story of how Thor got his wards Roskva and Thialfi; but it is also the story of how the giants used magic against the defender of Midgard. They made Thor and Loki doubt themselves, but they never quit and, in the end, triumphed over the giant known as Utgard-Loki.
